Jennifer Dais, MD
Dr. Jennifer Dais of Premier Pain & Wellness is a double-board-certified and fellowship-trained interventional pain specialist. She is passionate about patient-centric care, focusing on interventional management for patients in the chronic and cancer pain populations.
Educational Background
Dr. Dais graduated magna cum laude with a degree in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Arizona. After completing her medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, she finished her anesthesiology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). That was followed by a pain medicine fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
Professional Experience
In private practice since 2016, Dr. Dais has been performing the full spectrum of minimally invasive injection techniques and advanced implantable therapies. These include peripheral and spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion (DRG) stimulation, intrathecal pump therapy, Vertiflex, minimally invasive lumbar decompression (MILD), and Intracept. She also utilizes surgical techniques including posterior interspinous and facet joint fusion devices as well as percutaneous sacroiliac joint fusion surgery.
Dr. Dais has been active on a national level, being invited as faculty to The American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN), Women Innovators in Pain Management (WIPM), and The American Academy of Pain Medicine national conferences. She was honored to also have her abstract accepted for presentation at the 2022 annual North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS) meeting on peripheral nerve stimulation of the pudendal nerve for treating chronic pelvic pain.
